Reasons to support my little art business…

I started this business to build a dream life for my family, one that flexed to meet the needs of my little girl. But there have been challenges every step of the way and sometimes I have felt like quitting. I have to remind myself that these things take time and getting a part time job to support my income was not a failure.

After 2 years I finally feel like I have found my voice. My work is inspired by the positive energy I try to seek out in life as I attempt to revive my own vibrancy after motherhood and middle age, and I’m now on a mission to make sure other women who have lost their colour after a major life shift feel less alone.

I am not just seeking collectors, I am seeking those who want to be part of a movement, one that screams - I won’t just fade into the background, I won’t settle for the expectations of beige neutrality as we age and I will reclaim my true colour, one that is deeper, richer and more complex because of the things I have lived through and survived!

My work is deeply personal and so are the relationships with my collectors. My DM is always open to chat through everything from emotional life stories through to how to frame and hang my art. I am always happy to help with free mock ups, styling advice and seeking frames less expensive than my own (tbh there are loads of great high street options if you are on a budget).

And I have an army of fans that agree. I have an impeccable 5 star rating across my website, Facebook and Etsy, with some utterly beautiful words. I have to pinch myself when I think how wonderful it is that my work adorns hundreds of homes across the UK and beyond, knowing that my work means something to so many people.

Lastly I have spent 2 years perfecting the production of my fine art prints. I work with some incredible independent and family owned businesses to reproduce my artwork at a very high quality and for full transparency, I do use a global fulfilment partner for some of my work, especially for orders outside of the UK - this choice took months, with over 40 test prints from 12 potential printers, before I settled on the right one.

This dedication goes into everything I do. I am a perfectionist and it’s tiring sometimes, I do wish I could be a bit more efficient. But this is exactly why I have so many happy collectors - some who have returned time and time again.

Building something sustainable sometimes means building it slowly. It means choosing stability alongside creativity. It means protecting your mental health. It means playing the long game.

So when you support my little art business, you’re supporting:

A mum building flexibility around her daughter

A woman learning that pivoting isn’t quitting

A small, independent dream that is still very much alive

And art that is about identity, revival and creating sanctuaries of self-expression that speak volumes about who you are not who you are expected to be.

And there are so many ways to support me! Liking, sharing, saving, reposting and following any of my posts will tell the algorithm to reach more people with my message… and of course one day I hope one of my pieces speaks to you and finds its way into your home.

But whether you choose to do these things or not, I am honestly just so thankful you are here to share this journey with me and I hope my words resonate.

Don’t forget my DM is always open.

Krissy xx
